DAVID LIPFORD

With over nine years of experience and extensive knowledge leading global talent searches, negotiating high-value creative contracts, and managing global, strategic marketing initiatives, David has held key positions at many of the fashion, PR, and marketing industries’ top companies, including Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman, Kranky Produktions, and Creative Chaos.

Most recently, David worked directly with the Creative Brand Director at Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman to lead the creative production of global marketing assets across all channels, including print, digital, and social media. Since 2015, he has worked under the Tapestry, Inc. umbrella—parent company to Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman—holding various leadership roles ranging from Senior Manager of Global Creative Operations, Senior Manager of Photo Producer, and Manager of Creative Services, and  where he was responsible for developing and managing millions of dollars’ worth of global budgets, overseeing timelines and the production of photography and video content, and the workflow of the in-house graphic design teams.

Additionally, David has worked closely with key internal stakeholders within the marketing, PR, and product development departments at Tapestry to ensure creative was developed according to strategy and deadlines were met. David was selected out of thousands of corporate employees to be one of only forty members on the Inclusion and Diversity board at Tapestry from 2018 - 2020. This council was formed to set and maintain corporate policies that address racial injustices in the United States, and promote inclusivity and equality in the corporate work place for people of color and minority groups.

In July 2020, David launched the Dual Phocus Agency (DPA), a full-service hub for content creation and creative artist management. DPA specializes in visual asset production, branding and business development, and represents digital and mixed media artists, image makers, and stylists.
